The Wine Visitor + Education Centre is the first of its kind on-campus facility in North America. The centre celebrates Ontario and Canadian wines, is the home of the Niagara College Teaching Winery, and is set among 40 acres of teaching vineyards at the base of the Niagara Escarpment, a UN World Biosphere reserve.

Tasting counters, retail wine sales, interactive displays and space for seminars, meetings and presentations are all a part of what the centre offers.

Niagara College officially opened its new Wine Visitor + Education Centre at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus today, following an historic visit by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales.

“The new Wine Visitor + Education Centre is a wonderful showcase for the Ontario and Canadian wine industry,” said Dan Patterson, President, Niagara College, “The new facility also showcases our students, our College, and the important work all Canadian colleges do in preparing skilled, job-ready graduates who drive our key industries.”
